Summary
Pure Movement Integrated Health Center (PMIHC) offers many different services and can treat multiple musculoskeletal conditions. The goal of PMIHC is to find the functional cause of the pain and fix it, with chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, rehabilitative exercises, and/or acupuncture. If just the site of pain is addressed, then the pain goes away for awhile, but then will eventually come back if the cause of it is not fixed. For example, a runner may come in with pain under the knee cap. That area could be treated directly and the pain may go away for a bit. Then when that runner goes out to run again or increases their mileage, the knee pain may come back because the true cause of the knee pain was not addressed, which may have been from hip or foot dysfunction causing the knee to not track properly. Therefore, our initial assessment involves doing functional screening to see where the actual dysfunction is and treating that to help fix the problem. We treat individuals of all ages and also perform sports physicals.
