Dr. Urbankova understands not only mouth but the body as well. I have a chronic disease for 20 years and my mouth has been failing me for years. My life has changed for better after I met providers at PreserveYourTeeth Dentistry.

Dr. Urbankova is the most expert dental practitioner I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many before her. She is absolutely committed to the concept behind the name of her practice, i.e., preserving rather than replacing teeth. I have had serious peroidontal disease for over 20 years and since coming to Dr. Urbankova (and her colleagues) my condition has been stabilized without surgery or tooth loss. She also has filled a few minor cavities, and I much prefer the resin she uses to metal.

Dr. Urbankova did dental work on my front teeth in preparation for my wedding. I needed to update my bonding and whiten my teeth so that I have a nice smile for pictures. Her work is incredible!! She is so careful and detail-oriented. Not only do my teeth look stunning, but she saved my teeth so that I don't get decay which will make my teeth look great longer. Dr. Urbankova is truly the best dentist I've ever been to and I highly highly recommend her!!!

“Very glad I came. It was an extremely positive experience”

I initially came in to address two teeth that had advanced cavities. However, after a full mouth consultation, it was determined that I would also need LANAP. I was hesitant at first, however after I completed the treatment the health of my entire gums and entire mouth DRAMATICALLY improved. It is night and day. My energy levels have also went up. I can't believe how much of a difference this has made to my teeth, my mental alacrity and my overall health. It was worth it, and I would recommend this treatment to anyone.

“The best dental office”

Dr. Urbankova helped me a lot. My front teeth had tetracycline stain and was told it was impossible to change colors without invasive veneers. Instead she did series of whitenings and my teeth are now bright and white without spending thousands of dollars on veneers. I never thought it was possible to correct the color without crown and veneers. I am 100% in trust of her and would recommend her to anyone who needs a good dentist.
Dr. Engebretson is the best periodontal oral surgeon. He performed three crown lenghtening on me to correct failing crowns and then Dr. Urbankova replaced them with new bonded crowns. My teeth feel like a different mouth. Laser treatments are rejuvenating and keep my mouth fresh and healthy. No more tender gums! I trust Dr E and also would love to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good oral surgeon.My mouth is like 20 years younger.

I was about to loose most of my teeth. I had gone to many dentist and they all told me the same thing! i was a lost case with my mouth, until i was introduced to my saint doctor......she told me about the laser surgery and i realized that was my only hope. I was never a fan of going to the dentist. My mouth was super sensitive. Cleanings were unbearable. I came to Dr. Urbankova on recommendation of our pediatric dentist. She started me down the road to dealing with sensitivity and early stage periodontal disease. I have seen / felt such improvement that I can't even believe it. Coming from the field of science and medicine, I appreciate how up to date the practice is. (use of rubber dams, lanap offering, her emphasis on Preventative care is important because her practice is looking out for the long term health of my teeth
Every hygienist I have had is very detail oriented, attentive, and knowledgeable. Perhaps over qualified compared to those in other practices.

I would like to keep her as my dentist even if I move off long island or new york.

Preserve your Teeth is an excellent facility which has a wonderful approach towards dental health. As the name implies, they put a great emphasis on prevention rather than painful surgeries. Although I have been a patient in this office for many years for routine maintenance, I have now developed a dental/periodontal situation that has needed months of attention. I travel over 1,000 miles for each appointment because I won't entrust my care to any other office. “Sinus Lift sucess”

I was worried about having a sinus lift before an implant. I couldnt have the implant without it. It was a difficult tooth for implant and the sinus lift would also be a challenge. Dr. Engebretson did the procedure with skill and sensitivity. I did not have any pain and the healing went well. Dr. E and Dr. Urankova are a great team and have to be one of the best dentists in the city!

“So glad I found Dr. Urbankova, her experience and skill are amazing”

I found Dr. Urbankova when I was in a desperate state. I knew I needed gum surgery, but kept putting it off. I do also suffer from kidney failure and take medications that suppress my iimmune system which takes a toll on my whole body. Dr. Urbankova suggested we do the LANAP surgery, and it was the best decision I have ever made. Now I feel so much better! Even my blood tests that I take every three months for the past 19 years have come back better than ever before. I feel so lucky to have found Dr.Urbankova.

I am very aware of peoples mouth because you look at their face when you talk to them , not at their shoes. If someone does not take care of their mouth, what is their rest of the body like??? Procedure was done using modern laser surgery. Fantastic results, with the ability to regrow tissue and bone in this 74 year old mouth. When the new crown was inserted no anesthetic was used. Dr. Urbankova inserted the new crown and I didn't feel any discomfort with a perfect fit. NO adjustments needed! So happy and many teeth were saved with no root canals !!! Dr. Urbankova believes in true tooth preservation, and saves teeth with lasers and no tooth nerve damage.

This practice is cutting edge. They did beautiful and extraordinary work to place two implants in my upper jaw. They are a team of two people: periodontist and a dentist so that the work can involve surgery as well as teeth repair and crowns. Beautiful bonding work on existing teeth.

Dr. Urbankova is extremely knowledgeable and efficient in her work. I was having pain in a tooth that had a filling done 20 years ago which doctors have told me should go for a root canal. I came in to see Dr. U who explained to me how avoiding a root canal would help protect and keep my tooth. There were three fractures on the tooth that Dr. Urbankova discovered when she started working, which she sealed and covered. Now, my tooth is stronger, and no root canal!!!
My appointment today went so well, the laser she uses in the office disinfected the bacteria inside that was causing my pain in the first place.

WOW 10/10 so happy I finally have a dentist who cares about saving the life of my tooth.

I receive clear and detailed explanations of procedures. I receive patient and accurate care. I trust that the best decisions are suggested for my dental care and that we are looking at the best possible outcomes. I value a lot that my teeth are preserved. I also learn a lot about how to take care of my teeth so that less and less intervention will be needed. I also appreciate that Dr. Urbankova spends all the necessary time to achieve the best results.
