Dr. Patel and his staff are kind and compassionate. The office is extremely clean and all safety precautions are being adhered to during COVID-19. The team alleviates fears and helps the patient to feel at ease during injection procedures. My pain has been significantly reduced under Dr. Patel's care and I have been able to eliminate other medications to treat the pain. I have referred family members and friends to the practice. “Best Pain Management Doctor I've Had!”

I have had several pain management doctors since I was in a wreck back in 2011. Moving to Chicago I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find a doctor to handle my medications. When I first saw Dr. Amish Patel, he came in with a plan. It was simple, he wanted to try different alternatives to opioids. At first I was scared, but a year later I am completely off pain pills and my pain level has gone down significantly though injections, patches and alternative methods

Ashley at the front desk is always so patient and very helpful. i had a scheduling and billing question and she helped me resolve it very quickly.

Norma has amazing bedside manner and is very efficient and is able to talk me through my pain.

Dr Rachel and Dr Dasgupta are super cool. I never feel like i walked away confused. They take time to explain my issue and help me attain my goals to lessen my pain.

Dr D has helped me live with chronic pain. very concise with his explanations. includes me in determining the best plan and course of action to take. very empathetic and is genuinely interested in what i have to say.

The staff is courteous and amazing in every way. They truly engage and ensure i am comfortable and never feel rushed. The office atmosphere is comfortable, clean and inviting. I wouldn't change dr's for anything in the world.

“I am pleased with the pain relief I have received”

With the exception of 1 injection to my hip for the pain in my leg that didn't work because the pain comes from my back I am happy with the results so far. I am able to go thru the day with much less pain I am about 75 % improved overall.

Dr. Patel is the "real deal" in the world of helping people in real pain. He is warm, compassionate and truly concerned about the patients he treats. Dr. Patel spent over 25 minutes with me discussing the cause of my sciatic nerve pain and disc herniation. He was really attentive to my concerns and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. He also discussed a lot of exercises I can begin to use immediately to help relieve some of my pain. He was very different than other doctors I have seen that spend less than 5 minutes with you and don't answer any of your questions.
I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain!!

The therapy experience was very unique and user friendly. The introduction of the virtual nature provided an extra level of interest that made completing the different movements and exercises very easy. The virtual game provided the users to complete the game at their comfort level but provided immediate feedback on your level of effort and movement based on how your were able to complete each session. additionally the virtual nature made completing the therapy enjoyable and made the time seem very short while achieving your desired results.

I have met with dozens of medical professionals throughout my process of treatment. I left the RIC because of their lack of interest in trying alternative treatments and what I felt was a lack of interest in keeping abreast of new developments in treating pain patients with my injury. Dr. Dasgupta has been a revelation, his knowledge, willingness to try different treatments until we found ones that worked, and most importantly his taking the time to read my file, look at my imaging and truly understand what the issues are and what can best be done to treat them is something I have been missing in my treatment to date. I greatly appreciate his efforts and in 15 years of this, he has provided the first real non-narcotic relief I have had. This appointment we spent time going over the plan, what has worked and what hasn't and he spent a lot of time explaining things and answering questions. I greatly appreciate PPS, Dr. Dasgupta and the rest of the personable, professional and kind staff.

The procedure was painful, but I expected that. I had no pain first day, very little yesterday. I felt very enthusiastic and did a lot things this morning. So I am tired. My pain in the legs has diminished. but lower back pain has not gone away completely.. I have not taken any pain medication so far. But will take it if I need to. Thanks
