butcher

This so called surgeon has changed my life forever. My mother was a patient by sheer bad luck. She went in for a procedure that was supposed to have a hospital stay of 3-5 days but once butcher Awad was called in she spent 3 months in trauma unit had 3 more surgeries, spent another 2 months in I-unit and still requires 2 more surgeries. She has lost most of her hair and over 50 pounds. Had a stroke (that could have been prevented had the quack listened to my email about getting low pressers on board to handle the high pressure) the stroke damaged the part of her brain that controls her arms and legs. He has so much ego that it all could have been avoided had he admitted or ask for help from another surgeon early on. He even told me not to listen to other doctors in the trauma unit because "it was shit". In my 3 month experience in the trauma unit, I watched families of his other patients have similar struggles...although some were not as lucky as my mom (if you want to call it that...her quality of life is ..y.well....words can't even describe). She was a vibrant 58 year old loving wife, mother and grandmother...now after 6 months she still can't walk further than 2 steps and....its horrible! I can't for the life of me understand why Shands (the science of "I hope I get it right" still puts patients at risk with this butcher. I don't know how he can sleep at night and continue to carry that ego around. A FIRST YEAR RESIDENT would have known not to resect a septic bowl...please think twice about allowing this surgeon to come anywhere near you or your loved ones. As God is my witness these statements are true! By the way...he never had to do what he did...he was so sure it was cancer and it wasn't! I would put zero stars but it won't allow it so know that I rank him a big fat ZERO!
