“Thank you for lengthening my lifespan !”

As an offspring of a colon cancer surviver , with a history of multiple precancerous polyps and a colon so long and difficult to get through that other Docs have pulled out before a complete exam, I can only rave about Dr. Vicari's technical skill. Also high accolades for listening ability, empathy and clear explanations.

What a blessing he has been !

“The doctor I trust with my life for over 20 years as cancer patient and cancer survivor!”

I have been Dr. Vicari's patient for over 20 years. I was 20 years old when diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. I had by now 2 times feeding tubes due to inability to eat during radiation therapy and post radiation therapy due to radiation side effects. Dr. Vicari was always there for me, took his time, listened to my problems, offered the best solutions that no other doctor did refute or over-ride. He even walked the "extra mile" on my case by inquiring about my case with his old medical professors, with Mayo clinic, and during GI seminars to make sure he is providing the best care for me. He preformed about 60 medical procedures on me over the last 20 years trying to help me keeping my ability to eat before I had to have the feeding tube again.I trust this doctor with my life and I have not changed my GI doctor for the entire 20 years of my 20 year cancer and post cancer ordeal. Thank you Dr. Vicari.

“I scheduled this appointment because of serious concerns regarding two health issues.”

Dr. Vicari listened to my concerns regarding my hemachromatosis and stomach concerns. We reviewed my history and the current symptoms. The doctor then asked a series of questions that helped clarify my symptoms and concerns. The doctor performed a physical examination of my abdominal area, asked more pertinent questions, and then offered his diagnosis and a course of treatment. Everything was done in a professional manner, and the doctor's questions and explanations were clear and easily understood.
