“This doctor does not abide by the AMA Code of Ethics”
My family recently advocated for my mother to get a 2nd opinion from another doctor before she gets an additional corticosteroid shot in her arm for pain management to ensure this was the best course of action. Oh, but not Dr. Hernandez. She believes she is the utmost expert in the field. When my mother communicated this request nonchalantly, the doctor grew immediately furious and told her "Go ahead and get a second opinion and then stay with that other doctor!" She repeated this angrily 4x.
