“Worst Dentist Ever”
I was looking for a Dentist in the Los Angeles area and found this one through the Blue Shield Network because it was not far from my home. Just scheduling an appointment was a hassle! The assistants could not find me on their eligibility list nor wanted to look for me in the first place. Even though I had a card with the dentist name and dental ID it wasn't enough for them and they didn't have the time to solve the problem but it wasn't their problem.
When the eligibility was straightened, the dentist was booked for more than a month and a half. I, at the time, had a tooth problem that wasn't an emergency but was starting to become a problem and the assistants couldn't understand that. When I finally made an appointment and arrived at the office (20 min. early mind you), I walked into a dingy off only to wait that entire time with no acknowledgment. At my appointment time I was given paper work to fill out. This is why I came 20 minutes early so I could actually start at my appointment time. I asked for a cleaning expecting someone to do X-rays and give me a play by play of what was going on with my teeth. Because that is what a dentist does right? Tell you what's going on with your teeth. I received NONE of that. A simple look over from the doctor’s eyes told him that all I needed was a simple polish. I can do that with my toothbrush at home. I knew I had cavities and I knew something was wrong with my temporary filling but none of that was discussed. Oh, he did tell me that some of the filling came out but that couldn't be fixed that day because he could only do 1 thing at a time and I asked for a cleaning. WTH? Are you not a Dentist?
In conclusion, my experience at Dr. Devang Gandhi’s office was the worst I have ever had at a dental office. I would not recommend this place even if you are poor because if you care anything about your teeth, he won't.
