“Helpful Visits”
These psychiatry visits were an incredibly great eye opening experience.
This psychiatrist actually considers the entire body when thinking about my mental health condition. Even as a medical assistant, I didn't know that 95% of my serotonin is made in the gut and that is why how my gut works is so important to my mental health . She is the only psychiatrist I have seen who looked at how my general health as well as my hormones could affect my mental health and visa versa.
