“Dr. Subach is a caring and brilliant doctor! HE saved my life!”

My first appointment with Dr. Subach was almost ten years ago. That appointment changed my life! I had finally met the doctor that would help me get my life back! I came to Dr. Subach after 2 failed fusions that came with many complications. He walked me and my family through a very difficult time. He was true to his word, my surgeries were all successful. My life changed beyond what we all thought would be impossible. My total trust is in Dr. Subach and his team.

“Anywhere else I would still be in life altering pain”

Dr Subach was the first Doctor/surgeon to listen to my complains and develop a plan based on symptoms. I assure you that at any other practice which I had seen would not have to developed the plan to make me as close to pain free as possible and return my quality of life to myself and my family.

“A Real Life Saver”

I suffered from back pain for nearly 21 years after an injury in 1997. After a very painful episode in 2017, a friend recommended the VA Spine Institute and Dr. Subach, specifically. I met with Dr. Subach and his team several times before deciding to do a two-level spinal fusion. The surgery was a complete success and I couldn't be happier! I am forever grateful to the Va Spine Institute for giving me my life back!

“excellent care. no more pain”

this is my second spinal surgery with Dr Subach. My back pain was keeping me up all night and other treatments through Virginia Spine Pain Management were not working. Having been through spinal surgery i was not interested in repeating it. But it became apparent and so i was once again a patient of Dr Subach's. i am now 3 months post op and pain free. i have my life back thanks to the skill of Dr. Subach and his excellent team of surgeons and PA's

“Best spine surgeon you could ask for.”

Dr Subach is the Best Spine Surgeon hands down. I came to him with what turned out to be a ruptured disc, He removed it and did a fusion. Now I am pain free and back to full duty as a firefighter. He is kind and compassionate. He explains everything to you, so that you understand it. I would recommend him to anyone.
