“Not professional”
I had a terrible experience with Ms. Bischoff. During my initial intake assessment visit, I tried to be as open and honest about my problems as I could, revealing deeply personal issues and things of which I am ashamed and for which I desperately needed help. After I had told her all of these things while fighting back tears the whole time, she said that she felt like I "didn't like her" and we didn't "click," and that I should find another therapist. I was completely stunned and mortified. I couldn't believe that I had just trusted her with all my deepest, darkest emotional wounds, and she had somehow made it all about HER feelings. Now I am afraid to go to another therapist because I cannot risk going through an experience like that again.
