I was referred to Dr. Abbott about my sleep apnea and was very unsure about how an oral appliance worked. I was really anxious about using one and he has put me at ease about all of my worries throughout the entire experience. He is always willing to answer my questions, no matter how many I have, and never appears rushed. Which is wonderful considering how quickly physicians move you in and out of their offices. You won't be disappointed with Dr. Abbott's warm bedside manor.

There is a (very) limited pool of doctors in the DC area with his level of expertise in the orofacial field. I really appreciate that he is willing to do phone appointments, as I live in DC and his office is a bit of a trek for me. It took a few visits, but each time I came I believe that the prognosis became clearer and the TMJ pain was lessened when I followed Dr. Abbott's instructions. He has referred me on to an oral surgeon.
