“Review Lesly Curtis, NP”
At my first and only session with Ms. Curtis, she told me that the drug I was taking, had been proven to be no more effective than a placebo and that since it had no effect, I could double the dosage or simply stop taking it. As I later found, someone had merely claimed that the manufacturer falsified test results and the matter was still being investigated. I also found that the drug is very highly regarded in the psychiatric community. And from reading the warnings, I found that if I had doubled the dosage or stopped it cold, as Ms. Curtis advised, I would have suffered terrible side effects. At the end of that session she told me she was thinking of starting me on another drug and that I should see her in a couple of days. When I did, she denied having said that and said she would see me at my next scheduled appointment in a month. Needless to say, I cancelled it.
She acted dangerously.
