“Pre-op cardiac clearance”

I first saw Dr. Segal to obtain clearance to undergo major abdominal surgery, a new and daunting experience for me. Needless to say, I was quite apprehensive about this whole situation.

Dr. Segal took time to listen to my concerns and carefully explain the purpose of each diagnostic procedure as well as the results. He gave me complete confidence that I was in good hands and that my cardiac status would be fully optimized for a successful surgery and recovery. My surgeon mentioned that she was very happy with how well my cardiac system responded during the challenging procedure, and we are all delighted with how well the surgery and my subsequent recovery has gone.
