“Two words: surprise billing”
Two words: surprise billing. I found Dr. Baumgartner on a list of providers taking new patients. I found him and his assistant Pepper very pleasant. The appt was longer than expected and he did not complete a physical exam, just bloodwork. I was told the blood work would be ~$200-300. There’s a character max. So: they billed me >$1700 and are not helpful about resolving this surprise balance. Despite me making a request to rebill insur.,theyre harassing me to pay before rebilling completes
