Powell Valley Healthcare serves the Big Horn Basin with a full complement of health care services. Powell is home to the first hospital in the Basin, built by Dr. John Whitlock in 1917. PVHC services include a 25-bed critical access hospital, 100 bed long-term care nursing home facility, 24 apartment assisted living facility, and physician clinics. Powell Valley Healthcare is located on the west side of town next to Westside Elementary School. A listing of specialty services we provide includes: Inpatient care, emergency medical services, Fast Track care within the ER, general, orthopedic, and spine surgery. PVHC also provides hospital & retail pharmacy services, full-service laboratory, Imaging, infusion services, and obstetrical services.
