Even after being in practice for 28 years, Dr. Peter DeSciscio knows
new challenges are always around the corner. “You cannot get
complacent, especially with the advances in technology that are
taking place,” he says. “I have to be at the top of my game every day
and maintain my training to meet those challenges.”
Dr. DeSciscio offers comprehensive dental care for adults and
children, including Invisalign® clear braces, restoration of implants
and emergency dental treatment. This general dentist also utilizes a
laser for tissue sculpting, cosmetic dentistry and some periodontal
procedures. Dr. DeSciscio’s philosophy is to treat each patient the
way he would like to be treated: with knowledge, care and

Past president of the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry and the
American Association of Dental Boards, Dr. DeSciscio also served
as director of the general practice residency program at JFK Medical
Center in Edison. He is a graduate of UMDNJ, now Rutgers School of
Dental Medicine, where he is a clinical professor in the Department
of Restorative Dentistry. The Consumers’ Research Council of
America has listed him in their Guide to America’s Top Dentists for
the past five years.
