Understanding the pelvic floor muscle is difficult. There are many factors that can affect your health in general. I am happy that I went to Allyson and learned more about my pelvic floor health. I did not find the lidocaine injection treatment effective and not sure it was necessary, but what I found more valuable was her expertise and knowledge about various treatment options, physical therapists, techniques focusing on the pelvic floor.

After three years of not knowing what was causing intense pelvic and nerve pain in my foot, after rounds of misdiagnoses and unnecessary courses of antibiotics, she diagnosed me with pelvic floor dysfunction. She then tailored my treatment plan to my requests, and I never felt forced to pursue a course of treatment I wasn't comfortable with. In just two weeks I saw huge improvement, and I'm extremely grateful to have an answer for the pain that other doctors dismissed or told me was in my head. Couldn't be more grateful!

Lastly, their assistant Jessica is the most friendly, energetic medical assistant probably in all of Manhattan...and their office manager Anna who handles billing is incredibly transparent on everything insurance and billing related.
