“Best Doctor I Have Ever Had for a Family Member”
Dr. Hebert placed a lung cath in my mom who had been tapped to remove plureal effusion 4 times previously. I had asked 3 other doctors if such a thing could be done with an answer of no. Dr. Hebert did the procedure and taught me how to drain it at home saving my mom at least 8 trips to the hospital when she was too sick to be moved by car. His office is accessible at all times with no run around; a nurse or receptionist always answer the phone and the replies are remarkably quick! Dr. Hebert has a wonderful personality and compassion and treated us with respect and dignity. I think of the Louisiana Heart Hospital doctors, he is the most available to patients with issues or just routine questions. I think he must be among the best thoracic surgeon in the world; I would recommend him to anyone seeking quality and compassion in a doctor. His staff is fabulously friendly and always helpful as well and if you can't get a doctor's staff to respond to the doctor for you, you are basically walking the path alone.
