“UNMATCHED BEDSIDE MANNER”

I recently had several visits with Dr. Rivadeneira due to hemorrhoids. Obviously this is an extremely sensitive area and very painful-- however, Dr. Rivadeneira's delicate care made me feel at ease at these appointments. He had to do a treatment called "banding" and as invasive as this is he made it far less painful than it could have been. He is very kind, professional and caring. His staff is top notch as well. I was referred to Dr. Rivadeneira from my Gastro. I’ve suffered with Diverticulitis attacks for about 15 years. I met with Dr R to discuss a colon / intestinal resection surgery. Upon meeting Dr R I felt confident I was in excellent hands. His care team pre and post surgery was responsive, kind and answered all my questions. The surgery was a success. Recovery was just as Dr R explained. I’m so happy with the entire process from start to finish (post op 10 weeks). I would highly recommend Dr R.

I was recommended to see Dr. Rivadeneira for a fistula that was related to my Crohn’s disease. He was so personable, calm, and confident in his skills. He advised me to schedule surgery for a fistulotomy, and at first I was very anxious but eventually I went through with it, and I am so glad that I did. He was extremely reassuring the day of the surgery, and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. His operating team was fantastic. I highly recommend him to anyone!!

During a routine colonoscopy a cancerous tumor was found by my gastro(Dr. Keschner) who immediately called Dr. Rivadeneira. We were given an appointment 10am the following morning and surgery was scheduled for the end of the week. Dr. Rivadeneira took his time with us and explained everything that was going on and what options I had. I am now 6 months post op and I have very little change in my quality of life and I attribute that to Dr. Rivadeneira and his team.

Dr Rivadeneira removed 10 inches of my colon and reattached it. No bag needed.! He went over the procedure step by step on my level of understanding. He went over recovery step by step. “Diverticulitis Surgery”

After 3 months of wearing a drain for an abscess from Diverticulitis, I was recommended to Dr. Rivadeneira from another surgeon, due to the fact I was considered high risk. Met with Dr. Rivadeneira who explained in detail the surgery I need. He also advised me based on the CT scan, I may need a colostomy bag whether it be for 3 month or the rest of my life since the diverticulosis was spread throughout my sigmoid colon.
