“The BEST doctor..have tried other doctors after moved upstate... gave up looking and now actually drive the 4+ hours just for her! ”
I believe I had 1 or maybe 2 other doctors when I was younger, but couldn't handle their dismissive attitude or difficulty making an appointment, so my mother had me start seeing her primary physician and I have been her patient ever since. (that was over 15 years ago). I have recommended Dr. Burmeister/ her practice to every friend of mine or anyone that was looking for a new primary doctor. Every single person/friend that I referred to her was overwhelmingly pleased with their experience and have all remained loyal patients.
I have been ill since I was a baby and I have seen more doctors (and specialists) than I could count and there has never been a single doctor/or office that is would come close to the level of quality service that this practice has. Dr. Burmeister just is truly compassionate, caring, understanding, patient, and just makes you feel comfortable and she is genuinely concerned about your well being. She will actually listen to your concerns and never makes you feel rushed or ignored just so next patient can be seen. She will have a conversation with you and listen.
*AND* On top of giving each patient her complete attention and remarkable care, you are able to make same day sick appointments. I have never been unable to get right in and be seen when I am sick and for standard appointments, usually get right in next day (or very rarely you may get day after next if its not urgent or anything). and I can not forget to mention one of the BEST and AMAZINGLY RARE thing regarding the entire practice. I am pretty sure that this is AN AMAZING QUALITY that I don't think I have ever experienced at any other office/practice. They do not waste your time endlessly sitting around in the waiting room as others do. (I have had other doctors run so far behind (constantly), some of my doctors have had me wait 3-4+ hours after scheduled time before being called in to just wait another 30-60 minutes, with no apology or even acknowledgement of the time I had to wait.) But the amazing thing about this practice is when you schedule your appointment for a certain time, you will actually be called in by a nurse (takes vitals and brief description of the reason you need to be seen) and within minutes of nurses departure, Dr Burmeister is in the exam room! I have NEVER been in the waiting room for more than 5-10 minutes after walking in the door. and office runs like clockwork! I don't think I have EVER seen them running behind at all! Its amazing because she has non stop appointments all day and will even manage to squeeze patients in between appointments if they need to be seen immediately, and she STILL IS ALWAYS ON TIME FOR YOU!!! You will actually ALWAYS/CONSISTENTLY be seen by her AT THE *ACTUAL TIME* you scheduled your appointment!! I honestly cant say that I know of any other doctor I have seen that is not running behind/late almost constantly. Never had a doctor that was able to be just consistently on time and just complete overall amazing doctor. Cant say enough about this woman! If you are looking for a doctor, look no further! You will be so happy that you went to her!
