“Treated like dirt by office staff”
If you can get past the most horrible of office staff, Dr. Spinner is actually sweet. I can't say he's the most knowledgeable of neurologists, but he tries very hard to provide sympathetic care. His bedside manner is warm and he listens never felt rushed except when his office manager barged in to see why was taking too long with my appointment even after I had been kept waiting sb min to see him. The office manager is a Monster of Rudeness. She is totally off base in the way she treats patients. She actually scares me. I was screamed at, hung up on (twice) and had messages for Dr. Spinner ignored. Even when I called with emergent Rx concerns, I never received a return phone call from anyone on multiple occasions over this and other questions. The other office staff are totally unhelpful. If you are looking for QUALITY care and attention, there are much better options for a neurology specialist all over LI. It's unfortunate that the office manager is ruining this young doctor's reputation. It's because of her and the rest of the staff that I will never return.
