“None can compare~”
Peggy saved our family by teaching the skills required to raise and nurture children in a healthy manner. Childhood trauma affects the family as a unit, and trauma affects each person uniquely. Peggy made the difference we required to heal.
From water-gun fights to coax a scared child out of their home to resolving nit-picky spats over who left a towel on the floor, simplicity ruled. Parents hear: “She left the towel, not me,†“That’s not my towel,†and “He used my towel!†Simply purchasing unique colors for each child instantly identified the towel on the floor!
Simple solutions to small problems lessened escalating into big problems. The kids live amazing lives as adults and each either work with children or plan to work with children. They love one another enormously and act more normal than anything I ever imagined.
A child with additional medical, emotional, educational, and physical needs challenges family dynamics; especially, when considering the components of a blended family.
Peggy keeps it real and after experiencing hundreds of doctors over the years, I am almost an expert!~ Peggy has always gone beyond the call of duty. Observing my adult kids flying so well and using their own wings to reach destinations beyond my dreams, I know that Peggy and Dr. F. helped make our lives more complete by arming us with effective tools. I would not have been as effective a parent without Peggy’s help and my children’s lives changed positively because Peggy cared and we were eager to learn.
