I have been working with children and families for the past fifteen years. My experience includes infant mental health work, working with children all ages (3-18), working with adults, and school social work experience. I enjoy working with families to reduce stress within the home using empowerment, empathy, and education.
My specialties include treatment of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, ADD/ ADHD, adjustment to family divorce, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, developmental disorders, infertility, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning disabilities, panic disorders, phobias, PTSD, self-mutilation and cutting, woman's issues, and many other mental health related concerns.
I utilize a very eclectic style, most often using methods of practice that will best meet the needs of my clients... some methods include cognitive behaivoral approaches, family systems, art and play therapy, relational therapy and more.
