Dr. Clearfield knows what he's doing. He has a comprehensive understanding of how the body is supposed to function and was able to quickly and accurately diagnose what was creating disfunction and pain in my shoulder. (I had sharp pains in my shoulder, so painful that I couldn't move it. As a mom, I needed to be back to full health quickly.) He took the time to explain - in easily understandable terms - what was going on and what I needed to do to rehab my injured rotator cuff. Not only did he provide OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment) on my shoulder in the office, but he sent me home with clear instructions on icing and shoulder exercises. Within 3 days of my visit, I did not have any more sharp shoulder pain. Three weeks later, my shoulder is pretty much back to normal strength, with NO pain! Also, after my follow-up visit with Dr. Clearfield, I am now more confident that I know what to do - and not do - to avoid further injury.
