Mid-Ohio Foot and Ankle specializes in the resolution of heel pain with one treatment of high intensity shock waves called ExtraCorporeal Shock Wave Therapy. We have a 90+% 1st time treatment success rate. Gone are the days of requiring surgery if all other measures fail to eliminate your heel pain. You are in your shoes the same day and back to work and activities almost immediately after the in-office treatment is performed. We also specialize in cryotherapy for neuromas and laser nail fungal therapy. All done in the office. If you have flat feet you can have the Hyprocure procedure performed allowing you to walk the same day and back in a shoe in 2 weeks instead of the fusions most commonly done that keep you off work for 3-6 months.

“Awesome Care!!!! Great Doctor, Nurses and staff!”

I was treated for long term right foot pain and had seen many providers without relief. Until I found Dr. Staschiak! He did surgery to repair my bunion, moved a tendoon, did ESWT and also heel spur removal. He is an excellent provider and I have had wonderful results with this new and improved foot of mine! “Bunion Surgery”

I was in a lot of pain for 6 years. 5 Doctors later after extensive research on my part I was led to Dr. Staschiak. Immediatley I knew he was the one. A few weeks after surgery I could tell a lot of the small pains I always felt were gone. The surgery experience was smooth, the staff is great, friendly and caring. I will be back to have my Right Foot done as soon as I can.

“Now I can wear my shoes without pain!!!”

The surgery was quick, there was some discomfort following. Wearing the boot is not fun, but necessary. Physical therapy helped get my joint back to the motion I needed. Now I walk without pain and I can wear my dress shoes without pain for the first time in years. I am extremely happy I had this surgery done - and I think Dr. Staschiak was the man for the job.

“Amazing Experience Overall”

From the first time that I came to see Dr. Staschiak, he was able to immediately identify the issue and come up with an explanation and plan for correction. I'd seen another Dr. for the same thing previously who was only able to temporarily relieve the issue, but Dr. Staschiak was confident in his plan of action and because of that I was able to fully trust and accept his direction. During that treatment, he informed me of other issues he'd noticed with my feet and shared that if it became problematic he would be here to assist. Of course that happened a little while later and he was there. He's always respectful, kind and confident and professional. He spends the necessary time to answer questions and address concerns, but does not waste your time with unnecessary chatter.

“Wonderful help with a bunion repair”

I came to Dr. Staschiak for help with complications following a bunion removal with another doctor outside of this practice. He performed a Valente procedure and then a joint replacement which gave back my range of motion in my right foot. Dr. Staschiak is easy to communicate and is very thorough in explaining everything with each procedure from start to finish. He never seems in a rush and is happy to answer any questions I have had along the way. I would 100% recommend him to anyone with foot issues. In a few months I plan to have him do a bunion removal on my left foot.

Dr. Staschiak conducted toe shortening surgery on both my feet. I was extremely nervous about it prior to walking into the office. However all of that changed once I was welcomed by the staff and Dr. Staschiak. All of the ladies in the office makes you feel comfortable, they are very professional. Dr. Staschiak assured me that everything will be perfectly fine as it sure did. I am at my 3 month post-op and I am very happy with my results. “The Best of unpleasant diagnosis”

Dr. S is excellent. I had a bunionectomy and ankle implant done by him and everything was better than I could have ever anticipated. I felt almost NO pain at all during my healing process and here I am 2 months later able to carry on with my life as normal. This is my second surgery at Feet for Life. I traveled from Virginia to St. Louis for my first procedure for an ankle implant to correct flat foot issues a few years ago. That correction was such a success that there was no question as to where I would go to have my bunions removed. I packed my bags and came back to St. Louis again! I had to have two procedures performed on both of my feet and as a young professional the idea of taking time off seemed unfathomable. “Came in for heel pain + flat feet as well as pain in other areas as a result of flat feet”

My overall experience at Feet for Life with Dr. Stachiakhas been incredible! I have dealt with foot pain since I was a child and my mom always noticed how one of my feet "caved in." Over the years I have seen many different doctors and their responses were all the same, nothing going on and encourage shoe inserts. My foot pain never went away and increasingly got worse. I came to Feet for Life, as recommended by a friend, and Dr. Staschiak listened to everything I was saying and he knew instantly what was going on. Turned out I had talatarsal displacement. He gave me information about a minor procedure he could do and allowed me the choice to research and make the final decision. He was not pushy about it and I trusted his words. I went through with the procedure and I have been fully satisfied with everything. My before and after picture of my foot is amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Stachiak to anyone who may be having foot problems.

After having noticeable Bunions since I was 11 years old and being 51 now it was time to do do something about them. I had heard horror stories from the people in my area and was not about to take a chance on having surgery there. I was sent to Dr Staschiak by a client of mine that had done extension research about podiatrist and after 7 to 8 misdiagnosed visits to our area Dr Staschiak diagnosed her within minutes and had her in surgery within 2 weeks! She thinks he walks on water! I sent a client to him that was getting ready to have his toe amputated by another Doctor and Dr Staschiak saved his toe! He is still pain free. “I only wish I had listened to him and had my surgery sooner”

I’m When I found Feet for Life I had been dealing with pain from a previous foot surgery. The doctor I had in the past never seemed to listen to what I was telling him was wrong. I finally decided it was time to find a new doctor. From day 1 I felt like Dr. Staschiak was listening to me. After years of frustration I finally found the best podiatrist around. The office is great to work with. If I called with a problem they always seemed to find a way to fit me in. And when I finally decided it was time for surgery again I felt at ease that Dr. Staschiak was going to do a great job. When I had extra questions and anxiety Amber one of his assistants treated me with such kindness. I’m officially 1 week post op and I can tell my foot is already much better. I will be a patient for life.

“My foot works again; nice job, doc!”

After months of increasingly worse pain and decreasing function in my foot, I visited Feet for Life. Dr. S. diagnosed the problem (flat foot) and recommended several solutions. I chose the surgical option, which resulted in restored function and decreased pain. Two months later, I'm back to being active running, lifting and doing everything I did before. Highly recommend!

“very happy with the dr and the results of my surgery”

i was going to another dr for several years and he kept giving me cortisone shots and they weren't working. he said the only thing that would help is to have surgery and be on a on a roller bench for 8 weeks because i could not walk on it. not a good idea. i was referred by my cousin and i am very happy. with Dr Staschiak. he is very nice and easy to understand. the surgery was easy and a great recovery. he solved my problem and knew what to do immediately with a lot less stress on me.

Overall good experience. I needed a tweak on one of my toes that he operated d/t bone growing back incorrectly. I was not excited to have a repeat surgery and recovery time etc. Both toes have healed correctly without pain.

“I got relief fast!?”

Dr. Staschiak was very through the first visit. He was able to identify why I was having pain and developed a plan to minimize my pain going forward. I’m happy to say I now have very little pain from plantar fasciitis!!
