Dr. Humm is a formally trained pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation of children and adolescents with acquired or developmental neurocognitive disorders. She received her B.A Cum Laude from Haverford College in Psychology in 1999 and her Master's in Child Clinical Psychology and Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Denver in 2004. She later obtained her PhD in Child Clinical Psychology and Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience in 2008, also from the University of Denver. Dr. Humm's Internship was at the Children's Hospital of Colorado in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Pediatric Psychology, and her Fellowship was at the University Illinois Medical Center in Pediatric Neuropsychology. Her areas of expertise include ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation, developmental delays, the long term outcomes of children exposed to substances in utero, traumatic brain injuries, and the effects of neurological diseases on cognitive functioning and learning. Dr. Humm has extensive experience performing evaluations with children as young as infants/toddlers through young adulthood. Additionally, Dr. Humm works closely with schools and other educational professionals to formulate appropriate intervention or accommodations plans for students with different learning needs.
