“Dr. McElya is great!”

Been a patient since 2003. They are open late, 10pm on weekdays. Love the new office Preston/Beltline. Best advice is find a doctor you mesh with and see that one each time. All in the office are nice but it helps with history and rapport. Dr. McElya himself seems to have a great spirit and has pics of his mission trips to Africa on display, a must see. Make an appointment to reduce time-same day is even avail.

“excellent!”

I got sick during the middle of the night once and remembered that Neighborhood Medical Center opens by 8am so I headed over there and they got me in. I saw a doctor and was checking out in less than 30 minutes. It was amazing. I told my roommate and now she goes there for her regular annual check ups, too.

“Now this is the only place I go when I needed medical care.”

I found the staff at this place to be really helpful. I visited a different office down the street several months ago when I had some really weird symptoms. They wanted to do a ton of expensive tests because I didnâ€™t have insurance at that time, that was not an option for me, so I left and visited NMC a day or two later. What a difference! I felt like the people there really cared about me (not just out to make a buck.) The doctor there explained in detail what was going on and he gave me some options of what I could do to feel better. Now this is the only place I go when I needed medical care.

“Very Professional!”

Beautiful office, Easy to find on the corner of Belt Line and Preston Road. Great hours and friendly professional staff. You rarely this anywhere today.

“The staff is great”

I have been a pharmaceutical representative in Dallas for more than 5 years. Itâ€™s my job to meet with doctors in their offices, supply them with medication samples and inform of new drugs on the market. I work with a lot of doctors and medical offices. When I need a doctor, I go to Neighborhood Medical Center. In short, the hours are great, the staff is great and Dr. McElya is one of the best doctors Iâ€™ve been to. Heâ€™s compassionate, very good at what he does and has a fantastic bedside manner. I highly recommend this office to colleagues, friends and family.

“Very kind and helpful”

I have visited the office on Meany occasions with a verity of illnesses for myself and children. I have found the staff and doctors to be very kind and helpful. My wait has been short and I have enthusiastically recommended this great place to my friends and family. I now consider Dr. McElya my regular doctor!

“Enjoy”

Wow, the doctor really does run from room to room in tennis shoes just like it says on the website. Believe it or not i actually enjoyed my time there. I found the staff to be professional and refreshingly happy. I will continue to refer friends and family.

“Great help”

Last week I told my Mother-in-law into the doctor because she only speaks Spanish. I had planned to help translate for her but I was pleasantly surprised to find that a few of the nurses and office people are bilingual and were able to really help my mother-in-law refuses to go anywhere else now!

“Fantastic!”

For years Iâ€™ve been used ADD medicine. The works great but visiting a doctorâ€™s office every month just to get a refill was a hassle and expensive. This place is unlike any doctorâ€™s office Iâ€™ve been to. I can be seen 7 days a week and I only need to come in 4 times a year to get my refill. FANTASTIC!!

“Felt Much Better. Thank You.”

I love Dr. Janet, I first saw her about a nagging cough. After she talked with me for awhile, she recommended a chest x-ray, I was surprised when she took the time to actually show me the x-ray and the pneumonia I had. After a few days of medication I felt much better. The thing I like best about her was that she spent a lot of time with me and was really interested in helping me feel better. Keep it up Dr. J.
