Boston Children’s Hospital’s Luo Laboratory Research program focuses on understanding how the immune system responds to infection, inflammation, and disease at the molecular and cellular level. Led by internationally recognized researcher Hongbo R. Luo, PhD, the laboratory studies neutrophils and other immune cells to better understand the signaling pathways that control immune responses, inflammation, and tissue injury. Through innovative basic and translational research, the lab aims to advance new therapeutic approaches for inflammatory diseases, immune disorders, infections, and cancer. By combining cutting-edge molecular biology, genetics, and immunology research, the Luo Laboratory contributes to scientific discoveries that support improved treatments and outcomes for patients worldwide.
