“Laser filling was Painless & Quick!”

Had a small cavity that was filled by Dr Seltzer in 10 minutes. It was pain free & required no anesthesia which I appreciated considering I am breast feeding. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP machine. CPAP therapy did not work for me due to recurring sinus infections. My doctor referred me to Long Island Smile. It took several months of adjustments but now I can't be without my appliance! This is the first time I experienced the Solea Laser. I have chemical allergies and usually have reactions. Instead of having novacaine Dr Seltzer recommended this new way to have a filling. “I can"t believe how well my husband sleeps at night after he was fitted with his sleep appliance.”

Before my husband was fitted with his appliance for sleep apnea, he was sleeping as he thought was good. However, I heard him snoring so loud besides him tossing and turning many times in the middle of the night. He would get up still very tired. I noticed his mood swings. My husband needed a nap every day to get him through until dinner was served. After Dr. Seltzer fitted him with his sleep appliance, I saw the difference almost immediately. He has not tossed and turned all night since. He gets a restful night sleep. My husband's snoring has stopped and I even see the difference in his personality. This appliance was very easy to learn how to use. Dr. Seltzer's assistant showed him how to put it in his mouth. It was so easy to get used to.

Started using Dr. Seltzer when my spouse went there for a sleep appliance. He evaluated my mouth and found that I had many problems, gum and older crowns that were not placed properly. He carefully planned out my dental treatment which also involved a periodontist and an endodontist and a dental surgeon. A former dentist tried to play superman and just kept giving me antibiotics which caused much bone loss and several abscesses. After 4 months under Dr. Seltzer's care, I have five new beautiful crowns that fit, an upper tooth that he and the periodontist saved and a back upper removal with an implant in progress. No more infection, no more bad breath and I smile with confidence. Although I'm in my 60's, I've learned how to properly care for my teeth and use his dental hygienist. I've never felt better in years. When you find a competent dentist such as Dr. Seltzer, it's a gift in life.

“Incredible Experience”

I needed a new crown as my old crown broke while eating some lobster. Dr Seltzer replaced my crown with a new CEREC crown. This was an amazing process. This is a one visit high tech computer generated crown. I was able to watch the entire process right before my eyes as Dr Seltzer created the crown on a special computer and then the crown was built by a machine in the office. The result was perfect. It fit like a glove and looks beautiful. All this in one short visit that was painless and fascinating. In and out in an hour and a half and on my way to work.

I came to this office with a diagnosis of severe sleep apnea and attempts to use a CPAP machine did not help at all. I was fitted with an oral appliance to use while sleeping and it was life changing. I am sleeping comfortably every night and feeling refreshed in the morning.
