My procedure was done neatly and healed fairly quickly. after following his instructions, there was not even much swelling or pain. I think that my experience was just a run-of-the-mill patient experience. I had pain and swelling for the first week and a half or so, but it went away naturally. I didn't take the prescribed painkillers- only aleve and extra-strength tylanol.

Several of my friends also got their wisdom teeth out with other providers and they felt a lot more pain than I did. I'm not sure if their doctors use Exparel, but I imagine they don't. They also ended up having to take the prescription pain meds and had bad nausea and ended up throwing up, so I'm so thankful that I didn't even need to take those. Thanks!
