Dr. Joel Schlessinger has devoted his life to dermatology and skin health. As a board certified dermatologist and general cosmetic surgeon in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Schlessinger has more than 20 years of experience treating a wide variety of skin conditions.

Along with his dermatology and cosmetic surgery practice, Dr. Schlessinger is also the founder of the Advanced Skin Research Center, a clinical research facility that investigates new medications and treatments for a wide range of skin conditions and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Schlessinger is a very friendly and personable doctor willing to take the time to explain everything. His process goes through every option available for YOU & what you are wanting to see him for. My test results show that I need a lot more treatment than the "average person." My skin cleared up immensely just within one month. With his diagnosis and products that he recommended to buy from his office. I couldn't be more happy that he is willing to try anything to help YOU see your results.

“A wonderful visit with a wonderful outcome”

I initially came to see Dr. Schlessinger because of a skin problem on my forehead. His very thorough and competent staff noticed my feet. What I thought was dry skin actually was a treatable medical condition. I was prescribed medication - which worked and which I tolerated very well. Dr. Schlessinger and his staff spent time with me, explained everything very understandably and I knew that I was in good care with this. Now, four months later this condition has improved and I'm thrilled.

“quick and efficient staff”

I had a couple of moles that were looked at...within 10 minutes they were removed and all was finished with no pain

“Great Experience at Lovely Skin”

I have loved the last five months I have spent undergoing acne treatment at Lovely Skin. Dr. Schlessinger and his staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are always available to answer my questions or discuss my concerns and my progress, and the results have been amazing so far. I would highly recommend Lovely Skin!

Dr. Joel Schlessinger and his staff at Lovely Skin have been excellent in caring for our family from our sons' teenage acne prone years and our adult issues with growths and sun damage issues.

The staff is kind, caring and competent from the moment one calls through the entire examination, treatement, and ongoing visit process.
