“I felt so at ease with Dr. Cottrill!”

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Cottrill as my provider. She spent considerable time easing the concerns of my parents and myself before, during and after surgery. She got second opinions on every test result and ultrasound I had along the way, and even got me in for an additional biopsy before surgery to make sure I wouldn't have to remove my entire thyroid due to cancer concerns. On surgery day, I was excited to see her! Her sense of calm and great bedside manner put me immediately at ease. I never once felt concerned with how my surgery would go. Her printed instructions for after surgery care was so helpful, as I couldn't remember most of what nurses told me to do after surgery. The surgical site healed up wonderfully with no complications. Dr. Cottrill also has an amazing team that works hard to double check results and give thorough analyses.

I am so happy that I met Dr. Cottrill and she did my surgery. I couldn’t have been in better hands. She is a wealth of knowledge but also patient, gentle and a great listener.

“Dr Cottrill is an excellent surgeon,with exemplary patient skills!”

I hesitated to have this surgery,but boy am I glad I did! My surgery was easy peasy and my recovery was a breeze. I’m very happy with the scar ….even at four months in its looking very good. I’m a very pleased patient of Dr Cottrill.

“Exceptional! I would recommend her to anyone”

I am very grateful for Dr. Cottrill- she is very understanding and truly cares about her patients. I was nervous going into my surgery and I reached out to Dr. Cottrill multiple times and each time she was more than willing to give me a call to talk through my worries. Not only did surgery go great, my incision looks better than I ever expected, and I feel comfortable knowing that Dr. Cottrill is on top of all my follow-up care. I truly could not have had a better experience and I recommend Dr. Cottrill to anyone having issues with their thyroid.

“Could not have been better !”

Dr Cottrill performed parathyroid gland removal surgery on me.The surgery was successful.My experience with the staff before and after the surgery was professional,kind and very reassuring.I was very anxious about the surgery.My recovery period was made much less stressful by the amazing post surgery notes provided by Dr Cottrill….they were through,easy to understand and written for a non medical person. I cannot stress enough how helpful her notes were to me.I’ve had a few surgeries and no other doctor has provided this much helpful information! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Cottrill! Leslie ( her nurse?) was very kind and reassuring.
