I highly recommend Dr. Hochfelder. He patiently listened to all of my concerns and thoroughly explained everything to me. His staff was helpful and his surgery scheduler made the entire pre-operative experience a breeze. For the first time in 40 years I can walk without pain in my left knee! I’m excited about getting my other knee replaced by Dr. Hochfelder! Thank you, Dr. Hochfelder, for giving me a new lease on life!

Comment - “ My 1 year Anniversary of my total knee replacement! ”

I wish that I could rate Dr. Hochfelder more than 5 stars. He did a total knee replacement for me a year ago on April 11th. I think of the amazing work he did on me and how very happy I have been. During this very difficult time, I can still smile at my pain-free knee and the quality of like I was given. There are no words for doctors who care and give their patients such outstanding care. I am so appreciative and thankful to Dr. Hochfelder, I can belly dance again! Shimmy Shimmy!!!

Everyone else who had a knee replaced had pain and a slow recovery. I walked that night of surgery, and did stairs in 4 days. Hvb&j has the best team, protocol and plan of any operation you could want. I also never had to take anything stronger than tylenol extra strength. I am going to be 77 and this knee is great

I just knew after meeting him that he was the surgeon I wanted. Partial knee replacement and it's perfect. My recovery wasnt easy intially, as most aren't, but it would have been worse had I not had a surgeon who is an expert in his field. So happy I had it done by Dr. Hochfelder and I can finally beat my 6 year old in a race!!

Comment - “ Should Have Done This Sooner ”

I'm now 6 weeks post op right total knee replacement with Dr Hochfelder. Things couldn't have gone better! I love to walk with my dogs and was able to start getting outside to walk comfortably after a week, of course without the dogs initially... the weather was gorgeous so I couldn't resist. I went back to work after 3 weeks. Dr Hochfelder has PT begin right away on a regular basis to ensure a good result. I'm looking forward to getting back to doing the things that my bad knee denied me.
