“Attentive and deliberate detective!”

I've seen tens of doctors in the area before being referred to Dr. Auriemma. I wish I had seen him sooner! He has excellent bedside manor, spending time with me to make sure he understood my specific (and complicated) shoulder problems. He helped diagnose a problem that had possibly been mis-diagnosed and needlessly operated on by other physicians. Dr. Auriemma understood my pain, worked collaboratively to determine the best course of attack, and kept me informed of timelines and insurance coverage.

“My Experience with Dr. Auriemma”

I am very impressed with Dr. Auriemma 's expertise , diagnosis and his treatment plan. He was efficient and highly effective. He he treated my painful shoulder today as well as outlined options for short term and long term treatment plan contingent on follow up x-rays.

Additionally he has an excellent doctor-patient care mannerisms.

“Great listener and incredibly competent!”

Dr. Auriemma has spent two hours with me total over two appointments, and I never felt rushed or dismissed. His medical assistant, Shonda, is terrific and made me feel right at home. I had diagnostic ultrasound and injection, and I have scheduled PRP for April. I am one year post-op after a hip labrum reconstruction, and I am still feeling pain and limitations in movement, despite trying PT, dry needling, deep tissue massage, cupping, an acupuncture. I feel optimistic for the first time in over a year that I might get better.

“He is always very helpful and really cares about his patients”

Dr. Auriemma is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. He listens to the entire problem and tries to find a solution no matter what. He is willing to look outside of the box and listen to the patient's needs and areas of most concern. I trust him wholeheartedly with my care.

“Great doctor”

I'm currently seeing Dr. Auriemma for upper back pain. He is the second doctor I've seen for this issue. I can say that I felt that he listened to me, asked questions to make sure he got the full picture of my symptoms, and took steps to diagnose my problem. Very genuinely caring person and good doctor.

“Most thorough bedside manor”

Dr. Auriemma is one of the most gentle, thorough, understanding orthopedics in the business. Every ortho I have seen in the DC area has been cold and told me just go for PT for any of my issues. Dr. Auriemma laid out all my options and gave me great explanation of each. I would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone I know.
