“Frontal Lobe Scar Tissue Removal”
I was a born epileptic but not diagnosed until age 14 when I suffered a grand mal on the beach at family vacation. I was having seizures for years. I didn't know what they were, but they scared me to death. I would run and hide. After 14 years on six different medications that never worked for me, I got referred to MUSC. A two hour commute for me (a non-driver at the time). But the best thing that ever happened to me. After six months of tests and study with Dr. Wannamaker, I was approved for surgery by Dr. Glazier. The best thing that ever happened to me! It changed my life! I drive now and haven't had a seizure since my operation back on March 6, 2012. Sorry for the long story, but I show respect to those who deserve it. And this Doctor is one, I'm sure of the many in this World. But the ONE for me.
