Boston Children’s Hospital’s Hand and Orthopedic Upper Extremity Program provides expert, multidisciplinary care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, arm, elbow, and shoulder. Our nationally recognized specialists treat a wide range of congenital differences, sports injuries, fractures, nerve injuries, brachial plexus conditions, and complex upper extremity disorders using advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques tailored to each child’s stage of growth and development. As one of the only pediatric programs in the country dedicated exclusively to hand and upper limb care, patients benefit from coordinated treatment across orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, and rehabilitation services. Through innovative research, compassionate family-centered care, and leading expertise in pediatric upper extremity treatment, we help children improve function, mobility, confidence, and quality of life.
