Georgia Ophthalmologists offers a comprehensive list of visual health services including routine eye exams for all ages, diabetic exams and testing, diagnosis and treatment of retinal disorders, glaucoma diagnosis and care, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and treatment of ocular emergencies. Our surgical services include cataract removal, YAG laser procedures, surgical correction of common eyelid disorders such as ptosis and ectroption, and pterygium removal. Dr. Bigles is a fellowship trained refractive surgeon offering the Blade-Free Lasik technique for vision correction. If you are interested in Lasik or have questions about whether you are a good candidate for Lasik surgery, we invite you to schedule a complimentary Lasik consultation.

We are unique in that we perform our surgical procedures in our own in-house ambulatory surgical center (ASC) located in our Covington office, thereby eliminating the need for outside hospitals. Our ASC is the second free standing ASC in Georgia and has been in operation since 1988. Our state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility is accredited by The Joint Commission (JCAH) and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

In addition, we also offer a full-service optical shop in each of our 3 locations. We cut, edge and assemble our glasses in our lab at our Covington office, and take pride in our craftsmanship and commitment to quality. “The world is more beautiful than I ever seen!!”

My cataract surgery was amazing. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Bigles has excellent bedside manner and took the to answer all my questions before and after my surgery. I will and have recommended him to my acquaintances. I am looking forward to my next experience with Dr. Bigles.
