IT is great to finally speak to a interventionalist who listens and is clear about the expectations regarding insurance coverage and when we can do the procedure i would like. Prior MD's were like we will do it and process your insurance but if they do not cover you will have to pay the difference. It would be nice to know this information up front. It was also great to have a MD who listens regarding the fact that i have had several interventional procedures so i already know which ones work or do not work for me and the fact that he listened and was like then lets not repeat those that dont work, and move forward.

Jonathan is always kind but a couple things i thought he should have contacted my personal care physician and had her schedule my ultra sound and had her tell me this is seen often and the ultra sound will tell if we need to worry. Also a couple other things that were not explained in detail and to me seemed bigger than needed. And explained how this changed so drastically in the last couple years. I have not been a professional wrestlers or carrying on my back a 200 lb pack for 200 miles lost in the mountains. It makes no sense. So i was left scared and asking why

The phone connection kept breaking down or in and out so that sometimes I could hear her, other times I could not! I had been to several doctors before Dr. Velling who suggested hip replacement for my pain. Dr. Velling was the first doctor to correctly diagnose I had two sources of pain - back and hip. Once he performed the nerve block for the back, the only pain I had was flareups of arthritis in the hip which was no where as severe as the pain coming from my back and radiating down my legs. We are now addressing the hip joint pain with stem cell therapy and I am 100% confident, this too will work.

my dissatisfaction has nothing to do with provider’s ability but a medical exam via telehealth to differentiate and evaluate pain symptoms is frustrating. the quality of the video was poor from my perspective. if it was that bad for provider it would have been even more problematic. I do very much appreciate the help I have received so far. It is just my feeling of inadequate eval with video exams
