I came in with an extreme case of plantar warts on my feet as well as plantar fasciitis on my right foot. Dr. Horwitz recognized right away that traditional in office treatment for the warts wasn't going to work. He treated my plantar fasciitis in one surgery one the same foot. I would recommend him to anyone going through both of these issues. I haven't been able to walk comfortably without pain for over 2.5 years. After surgery a month ago, I can now walk pain free. Dr. H. is the greatest!!! I had a soft tissue pain on the top of my right foot that for many months just wouldn't get better. Dr. Horwitz took x-ray's and quickly understood my pain issue and how to relieve it. After an injection to reduce the swelling and ease the pain, I was on my way to healing. Armed with a prescription for Diclofenac topical gel, I was looking forward to having no more problems with my foot. I can't believe I waited so long to see him. I totally recommend Dr. Horwitz.

I am 56 and have been dealing with plantar facitis off and on for 4-5 years. I tried everything. Rest, boot, icing, cortizone shots, etc. I researched the ESWT treatment and sought out Dr. Horwitz. After one visit, we scheduled the treatment. Had the treatment. It was tender for about 5 days, but no pain. Week 2 it felt good. I came in with pain in my big toe joint. After taking an xray, we discussed the potential need for surgery to correct my issue. However, to first rule out soft tissue damage. I received a cortisone shot. After about 7 days, I noticed significant improvement in my pain. I am about 90% after 2 weeks.

I was surprised at the minimal amount of pain post bunion surgery. I was off my pain meds in less than a week, but stayed on anti-inflamatories for a month. Biggest relief was to be back into flat shoes in 8 weeks post-op. This was pricey - but worth it. Helpful hint: I was given a walking boot for a month or so. But I also purchased a surgical shoe which I wore to bed and around the house.

came here after going to urgent care, they x ray my foot every time coming in the make sure i was healing, wore a boot for about 2 months, was healing a little slow due to my job but i am happy that i can slowly start walking without the boot now. will definitely be back if needed ! thank you !
