ECU Health Sports Medicine, located in the ECU Health Family Medicine Center, specializes in the treatment of muscle, joint and soft tissue problems in patients of all ages. The team includes four sports medicine physicians, one sports medicine fellow and three athletic trainers that provide care in the clinic and at events for local athletic programs, like Pitt Community College, Pitt County Schools and the Down East Wood Ducks. 

Providers at this location specialize in the non-surgical treatment of conditions like:

• Acute and chronic joint pain


• Acute and chronic illnesses in athletes (e.g. mononucleosis, asthma)


• Carpal tunnel syndrome and other peripheral nerve issues
