“Very Good OBGYN.”
I am not a big review writer but I thought that a review of a very good OBGYN was important. I was very happy with the care I received from Dr. Selinger. She made what could have been a stressful event like being pregnant not so stressful. She is very straight forward and honest and I appreciated that. I knew she was looking out for my health and my babies. She was also very patient and took the time to read over my very long and detailed birth plan and explain the what-ifs (which in labor and delivery there are a lot). She also respected my wishes and didn’t make me feel foolish for wanting what I wanted. During the labor things took a different path and the birth plan went out the window. She still took the time to ask me what I wanted, but at the same offered her medically trained opinion. I knew what had to be done but I appreciated her taking the time to ask. Everyone who works with Dr. Selinger and at Rancho OBGYN were very helpful and friendly. I was always greeted warmly and never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. The one time the wait was a bit long was because she was performing an emergency C-Section, I feel that is the most legitimate reason for running late and even though she was running behind she didn’t rush through my appointment and took the time to answer all my questions. I was lucky and my pregnancy went pretty smoothly, but when there was an issue I received a phone call right away and had everything explained to me. I enjoyed having Dr. Selinger as my OBGYN during my pregnancy and would defiantly will be going back to her for my next pregnancy (way way down the road).
