Dr. Robert Uzor

In Febrary 2012 I was diagnoised with a mass on my right kidney. This matter was causing blood in my urine and pain. My primary medical care is at the VA Hospital in NYC. I was told that the kidney had to be removed because the mass was too big and was damaged beyond to be saved. This was not sitting well with me because I consider myself in good health and running professional NYC Marathons. But, one early Febrary morning I just ran 10k I went to the bathroom to urinate, and I was urinating blood. A friend of mine took me to Bronx Lebenon Hospital where I had some X-RAYs done by you. I was exteremely nervous about the whole urinating blood, what would be the outcome and if I had damaged
my kidney even more. You ensured me that I would be fine and you will answer any questions about my X-RAYS. You were very professional and caring. I felt safe and not rushed out so you can see another patient you took your time. As a result the information you gave me and the images of my kidneys did support what the VA Hospital had told me, however your second opinion about saving the kidney was a blessing. I took your information and opinion to my Doctors at the VA Hospital and they re-evaluate their conclusion on my kidney and decided that my right kidney can be saved. I had surgery on May 16, 2012 to have the mass and kidney stones removed. My right kidney was saved and is functing 100%. Thank for providing the best medical service and medical advice. You saved my life and my blesses you. Thank you.
