“Bad. Money is his god.”
This doctor did a good surgery and kept bragging about it. No problem, but I heard very successful other achillies tendon surgeries as well. Be very careful, he will nickle and dime you but not in those amounts. Today I asked for my AFLAC insurance medical form to be completed by him. There were about 7 questions like what dates he saw me and what his prognosis was. He insisted I pay him $60 for the document (I even gave him the document). When I said I wouldn't pay for my medical info, he said he's entitled to be paid for his time. So 5 minutes (max) of time multiplied by 12 to get an hour of time comes out to $720/hr for paperwork. This is after I agreed to let his students observe the surgery and let a student inject me with the nerve block (which took two tries because they were learning on me). Finally, he didn't tell me my insurance wouldn't pay for the med boot before he had me come in for cast removal and said I had to pay him $150. Well, it's on line for $49 and I could have at least dealt with this and my insurance if he gave me notice. No chance. Mondey is his god. Got money? Get Madiefsky. He'll tell you how great he is. Glad he's not my dad.
