I have suffered from a life long fear of dentist ever since a terrifying experience as a child. I hadn't been to a dentist in over twenty years when my husband, concerned about my health made an apt. with Dr. Mancini, his dentist. My husband explained in through & extensive detail my phobia prior to my exam. When I reached Dr. Mancini's office he & his staff were so welcoming, warm and patient with me. They took extra time and care to explain each procedure that was going to be done, giving me breaks in between to collects myself, dry my tears and calm down. As I said I was terrified. They explained the procedures step by step as they were doing them to minimize my anxiety. They were very compassionate to the real fear I was feeling and comforted me at every turn. They even broke my first visits up into two sessions so I would not be overwhelmed. Each additional visit they care approached never varied. They remained professional but the amount of compassion they give continues to put me at ease as I continue to work on conquering my fear while I continue to work with them on my oral health. I consider Dr. Mancini and his staff more like Dental Angels and extended family for the Extraordinary care they provide me and their other patients.

Expected to have a crown but only needed a filling! I will take that any day :-)
