Dr. Morgan earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Miami. He received his M.D. degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and then returned to Miami where he completed residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health. He has since worked almost exclusively as a primary care physician providing healthcare for those in medically underserved communities. In 2013, he developed DriveThruDoc, a telehealth system designed to eliminate common barriers to access to healthcare (unaffordable costs, transportation and long wait times).
