Boston Children’s Hospital’s Department of Occupational Therapy provides specialized, family-centered care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults whose daily activities are affected by injury, illness, developmental delays, or sensory and motor challenges. Our pediatric occupational therapists work closely with patients and families to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care abilities, and independence at home, school, and in the community. We offer both inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy services tailored to each child’s unique needs, using evidence-based therapies and collaborative care to help patients reach developmental milestones and achieve their fullest potential.
