“Wonderful experience with Dr. Abbott, especially given that sleep apnea is at times difficult to deal with.”

Dr. Abbott, as well as his office staff, are always pleasant and cordial. Dr. Abbott provides thorough information regarding the sleep apnea appliance, its use and care.

I never have a bad experience with Dr. Abbott.

Comfortable and professional service. Explains exactly what he is doing and why. Explains pros and cons of oral devices and welcomes questions and thoroughly addresses concerns. Polite and welcoming office and staff. All Good!!

“Great experience”

I was referred to Dr. Abbott about my sleep apnea and was very unsure about how an oral appliance worked. I was really anxious about using one and he has put me at ease about all of my worries throughout the entire experience. He is always willing to answer my questions, no matter how many I have, and never appears rushed. Which is wonderful considering how quickly physicians move you in and out of their offices. You won't be disappointed with Dr. Abbott's warm bedside manor.

“Trustworthy and flexible!”

There is a (very) limited pool of doctors in the DC area with his level of expertise in the orofacial field. I really appreciate that he is willing to do phone appointments, as I live in DC and his office is a bit of a trek for me. I definitely trust his opinion and would recommend him to anyone who has complex medical issues.

“Very positive experience. Dr. Abbott is a good listener and follows up on your concerns.”

It took a few visits, but each time I came I believe that the prognosis became clearer and the TMJ pain was lessened when I followed Dr. Abbott's instructions. He has referred me on to an oral surgeon.
