Franciscan Children’s Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Program provides short-term, intensive behavioral health care for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric crises that require more support than outpatient treatment but do not require inpatient hospitalization. Located in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, the CBAT program offers 24-hour care with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, educators, and behavioral specialists who work closely with patients and families to stabilize symptoms and develop individualized treatment plans. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and family therapy, group counseling, academic support, and discharge planning focused on helping children safely transition back to home, school, and community-based care. Through compassionate, trauma-informed treatment and family-centered support, the program is dedicated to helping children build coping skills, emotional resilience, and long-term stability.
