In my extensive work with children and families I have found that the most effective and lasting course of change is achieved by empowering parents. Since parents have greater access to their children (a child will typically see a therapist once a week for 45 minutes), they are in a much better position to effectuate desired behavioral changes.

By providing parents with insight into their child's behavior and arming the parent with effective responses in the form of loving discipline, the parent is given lasting tools that will help them through the most common parent/child conflicts.

In addition to working with children and families, services are also available for adults, both individuals and couples addressing a variety of treatment issues.
