Boston Children’s Hospital’s Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program provides expert diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for children, teens, and young adults with common and complex hip disorders. As the first program in the country dedicated specifically to hip preservation in young patients, our multidisciplinary team specializes in conditions including hip dysplasia, hip impingement, labral tears, Perthes disease, and slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). We offer advanced imaging, non-surgical therapies, minimally invasive procedures, and complex reconstructive surgeries tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. Through innovative research, leading-edge surgical techniques, and personalized care, we help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and return to the activities they love.
